The Communications Committee and its subcommittees assure that the League effectively communicates trustworthy information to inform members, support the work of League committees, and inform the public.

Communications subcommittees and activities include:

Public Relations, including media releases and media contacts
Technology and Equipment including maintaining the League's website
Social Media, including maintaining the League's Facebook and Instagram pages
The Voter monthly newsletter
This Week in Greater Tucson and other internal communications to members
Serve as consultants to League committees when they develop community presentations or print materials
Writers' Corp training to write opinion letters to the editor

Technology and Equipment Support

Technology and Equipment Support volunteers assist League leaders and members with the use of computers and other equipment.

Technology functions include:

Maintaining an engaging, informative website that is a go-to resource for League members and the public
Serving as the League’s “help desk,” assisting members to use computer software, applications, devices and accessories
Planning and conducting training sessions with members on the use of equipment
Assisting with the recording of League events
Maintaining logs of LWVGT equipment (computers, projectors, cameras and related accessories) owned by the League and checked out by members for official use
Coordinating equipment maintenance and purchase when necessary
