Did you know that as members of LWVGT we are also members of the League of Women Voters of Arizona? That means we have the opportunity to influence and shape the League’s state-level policy and positions. The LWVAZ Convention is the forum where these policies and positions are discussed and decisions are made.

LWVGT is entitled to 14 delegates in addition to our President: these are our representatives at the Convention. Would you like to be one? Or attend as a member to learn more about our League’s positions and directions? To find out more, please email:  president@lwvtucson.com

Tuesday, April 15

The membership will approve the 2025-2026 LWVGT Budget at the Annual Meeting. Because dues are now being paid directly to LWVUS, our local league is receiving a smaller portion of the dues we pay. As a result, the proposed budget is much smaller than it has been in the past. Join us for this Information Session and get all your questions answered.

The membership will approve changes to the 2025-2026 LWVGT Bylaws at the Annual Meeting. One significant issue is whether or not to approve changing the name of our league from League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson to League of Women Voters of Southern Arizona, to take effect in 2026-2027. Join us on Zoom and get all of your questions answered.
