There will be a march in Tucson for International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8, 2026 starting at 2 PM from the Federal Building at 300 W Congress St.
This event is peaceful, non-partisan, and for people of all genders and ages. We are marching for national issues impacting all women, including: 1) justice for survivors of sexual violence, 2) women’s right to make all decisions regarding their bodies, 3) humane and lawful enforcement of immigration policies, 4) a focus on national self-awareness and improvement rather than aggressive foreign policies that ostracize our international allies.
I am a local Tucson physician, mother and U of A alumna involved in organizing this event. I’d be happy to discuss further and provide fliers (available in English and Spanish).
